28 February 2024
We are thankful to our donors, stakeholders and well-wishers who were present throughout the Zam Zam Family Night program held in Colombo reflecting on the journey of ten years since 2013 as a truly Sri Lankan organization.
The program organized by the Members & Directors of Zam Zam Foundation, looked back at the key achievements including NGO registration, counterpart in the USA and recognition as one of the 09 NGOs in Sri Lanka with Special Consultative Status with the United Nations ECOSOC.
Sheikh. Mufthi. Sulaiman Moola, a respected scholar, renowned speaker & author from South Africa together with Ash-sheikh A C Agar Mohamed, Rector of Jamiah Naleemiah Institute addressed the distinguished audience as the main speakers.
Mufthi. Yoosuff haniffa, Chairman of Zam Zam Foundation delivered the concluding remarks acknowledging the support of some of the now-deceased stakeholders as well as the diverse types of contributions by many donors, members, staff and volunteers.
Its noteworthy that as its always the practice with any administrative cost, all expenses related to the program were covered through personal financial contributions of the members & directors.
We look forward for a journey of further positive impact in years to come in our exclusive areas of focus Education, Social Harmony and Sustainable Livelihood.
