Facilitation of gifting of a much needed Funeral vehicle for Monaragala area

A Funeral (Janaza) vehicle handing over ceremony was held on 15th of February at Bakinigahawela Jumma Masjid, in Medagama, Monaragala with the presence of dignitaries in the area.

This vehicle will fulfill a long-felt need for the communities in the area and will be useful for needy people from all communities.Divisional Secretary of Medagama Mr Kapila Perera, Chief Prelate of historic Pothuubandana Rajamaha Viharaya in Monaragala & other religious leaders, Asst. Divisional Secretary, Additional Director of Zonal Education, Monaragala, Officer in charge of Medagama Police, Government officials, representatives of Baithul Khair Youth Organization and well wishers graced the occasion.

The key and documents of vehicle were handed over by Chairman of Zam Zam Foundation to the president of Bakinigahawela Jumma Masjid in the presence of all the dignitaries.
