Drinking water Project in Kurunagala

Clean Water is essential for daily life. According the UN research conducted in 2019, a whooping number of 280.000 people die due to lack of access to clean drinking water. In the rural villages in Kurunagala district, people are expected to walk miles to fetch clean water.
On the request from the needy community members, Zam Zam project team visited Nalloor village in Bandarakoswatte and Ihalakiniyam in Weerapokuna areas in Kurunagala district for a healthy discussion with the chief Buddhist clergies and civil society representatives. The project is expected to directly benefit around 100 families including families from the other faiths.

Community-Based Masjid Development
A Community-Based Masjid Development Program was successfully held on October 20, 2024, at the Green
