Foundation Stone Laying event for ‘’Green Community Experience Centre’’

The Foundation stone laying event for the Proposed ‘Green Community Experience Centre’ was held on today 15th of November 2021 at Inaya Garden, Elamaldeniya, Udunuwara, Kandy.

The Proposed ‘Green Community Experience Centre is a novel, eco-friendly, futuristic and inclusive community Centre to be established in Kandy District with the objective of facilitating a much-needed capacity building and community-based interventions, for local communities and to wider communities, in Sri Lanka.

The event was graced by the participation of Udunuwara Divisional Coordinating Committee Chairman Hon. Professor. Ranjith Bandara MP, Vice Chancellor of University of Peradeniya Professor. M.D Lamawansa, Mrs. Inaya Rauf, Chairman of Zam Zam Foundation Mufthi. Yoosuf Haniffa, Dignitaries, Religious & Community Leaders and well wishers.

The project has been endorsed by local and national, social, political, religious and community leaders as a worthy imitative which will fill in a long-felt vacuum in social development.
