Housing Project in Monaragala

On the 14^thMay, 25 marginalized families saw their dream come true to have proper shelter over their head as Zam Zam handed over 25 houses in Alupotha, Badalkumbura, Monaragala district. The Divisional Secretary, Government Officials, Religious Leaders, Social Organizations, Project Beneficiaries and Zam Zam Team participated in this occasion.

An ironic contribution was done by the Divisional Secretariat Office when they gave land for the houses from their allocation. The beneficiaries took ownership of their houses by contributing to build the foundation. Zam Zam’s contributed the rest of the establishment. This project was worked out n collaborations with Baithulkhair Organisation, Helping Hand, Help a Nest Youth Club in Alupotha.
