Kiniyama Visit

Zam Zam Foundation team visited Kiniyama village in Bingiriya, in Kuliyapitiya Area on 19th May 500 “Feed a Family” packs were distributed to the villages as immediate relief measures, including a few packs for families of other faith members, handed over by the Muslim villagers
sharing the spirit of Ramadan. The Superintendent of Police for Kuliyapitiya Police Division offered to personally accompany us to the village upon hearing that we are going for this purpose and he said he was impressed by the approach we took. He also arranged the local Police to support with crowd management and security. He assured to the villagers that all who are responsible for the riots will be held accountable. We thank all who contributed towards this cause in whatever the way they could.
