2006

Zam Zam Baithulmal was established in the year 2006 in Colombo and was remotely working in community development projects primarily working in Trincomalee District and suburbs.

2013

Zam Zam Baithulmal was formulated as a Foundation by our chairman Mufthi Yoosuf Haniffa and the board of directors. Zam Zam Foundation was registered under the Companies Act 2007.

2014

Zam Zam began with their inception project ‘Feed a Family’ to help the needy in the community fast during the month of Ramadan with ease. Zam Zam also started working on a project Help a Nest to fulfill the needs of shelter for the poor and the needy. Zam Zam Foundation initiated their premiere project ‘School with a Smile’ to assist desperate students with school stationaries. Zam Zam’s primary area of focus for community development was designated to the Anuradhapura and Nuwara Eliya districts.

2015

Project ‘Healthy Society’ was initiated to Zam Zam continued to rapidly focus on the development with a special focus to Nuwara Eliya district.

2016

Zam Zam Foundation was registered with the Department of Muslim Cultural Affairs and registered as a Non-Governmental Organization by the NGO National Secretariat.

2017 - 2018

After 3 years of community development in Nuwara Eliya, Zam Zam expanded projects towards focusing in the Monaragala and Badulla districts.

Moved to the new office from Wellawatte to N0. 20/11, Carron Place, Sri Saranankara Road, Kalubowila, Dehiwala.
