Sirasa Sahana Yathra EasterN Province

Zam Zam Foundation joined together with Sirasa Sahana Yathra Relief Aid to help the drought affected people in the Eastern and the Northern coast. Zam Zam aided them with Rs. 1.3 million worth dry rations. Highlighting our theme “Humanity Beyond Religion” this donation was made on behalf of the Muslim community.

Lessons Learned:

Working with media increases awareness about an organization.

Easy to serve large number of needy people within a short time frame.

Fund raising is not a major barrier if the organization has credibility in the society.
