ZAM ZAM FOUNDATION OPENS CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT CENTRE FOR SUSTAINABLE NATION BUILDING

Inaya Garden Complex comprises of Green Community Experience Centre (GCEC) capacity development centre which includes Rauff Hajiar Knowledge Centre building donated by Alhaj. Mr. Hassan Rauff from Katugastota, Kandy and the Accommodation Wing together with landscaped garden collectively funded exclusively by multiple donors from Sri Lanka Muslim community as a contribution to the nation.

The event was graced by Hon. Governor of Central Province Lalit U. Gamage, President of Udunuwara Development Committee, Member of Parliament Prof. Ranjith Bandara, Mr & Mrs Alhaj. M.W Rauff, Chief Priest of Udunuwara Sri Panjananda Revataphidhana Thero, President of All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama, Mufti. M.I.M Rizwe, Chancellor of South Eastern University Mr. Faizs Musthapha, Senior Lecturer of Sabarabamuwa University Prof. M. S. M Aslam, Board Directors, Members of Zam Zam Foundation, Donors, Religious leaders, Well-wishers, Community leaders, Government officials and Educational officers.

This place and the building you have entered is the exemplary gift of a son to honour his parents.

Often, we hear stories of constant good deeds being done in the name of parents after they depart this world. The story behind this building is an amazing story of a son who cools his parent’s eyes by performing charitable acts in honour of them during their lifetime.

Alhaj Hassan Rauff joined hands with Zam Zam Foundation to carry out a project of this nature, beneficial to the society and the country. He bought and donated this land on behalf of his mother, Hajiani Inaya and supported the construction of this section of the Green Community Experience Centre on behalf of his father Alhaj G.S.M Rauff.

True love for one’s parents has today evolved into a Community Development Centre with multiple facilities that would benefit thousands of people. It has also paved the way for many other generous individuals to join in for further expansion of this Complex.
